These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of the GreenकBadi website, Customer App and related scrap collection services. By creating an account, booking a pickup or using the service, you agree to these Terms.
1. About the service · सेवा के बारे में
GreenकBadi is a technology-enabled scrap collection and recycling platform. Version 1 connects customers, collectors and staff, and the GreenकBadi Admin team for pickup requests, assignment, collection, verification, weighing, rate application, payment recording, receipts and transaction records.
Phase 1 is intended to start in Siliguri, West Bengal and cover Metal, Electronics, Paper and Plastic, with support for English, Hindi, Bengali and Nepali.
2. Eligibility · पात्रता
You must be at least 18 years old to create a customer account. You must provide accurate information and must not create an account using another person's identity or information without lawful authority.
3. Account responsibilities · खाते की जिम्मेदारी
- Keep your account information accurate and updated.
- Keep your login credentials confidential.
- Do not share or misuse another customer's account.
- Notify GreenकBadi promptly if you suspect unauthorised access.
- Do not use the platform for unlawful, fraudulent or abusive activities.
4. Pickup booking and collection · पिकअप बुकिंग और संग्रह
- Customers may submit a pickup request with the material details, photographs, quantity or estimated weight, and pickup address requested by the platform.
- A pickup request is a request for service and is not a guarantee that every material, quantity or location will be accepted.
- GreenकBadi may contact the customer or assigned collector when clarification is required.
- Customers must provide reasonable access to the pickup location and must not knowingly provide false pickup information.
- Pickup timing may vary because of operational conditions, availability, weather, traffic or other circumstances.
5. Materials and prohibited materials · सामग्री और निषिद्ध सामग्री
GreenकBadi may accept recyclable materials listed in the app or website, subject to category, quality, safety and operational requirements. Customers must not submit hazardous, illegal, stolen, explosive, radioactive, biomedical, infectious or otherwise prohibited material.
GreenकBadi may refuse or cancel a pickup if the material is unsafe, prohibited, materially different from the request, or unsuitable for the service. Additional restrictions may apply to batteries, chemicals, medical waste, contaminated materials and other regulated items.
6. Estimated price, weight, rate and final amount · अनुमानित कीमत, वजन, दर और अंतिम राशि
Any estimated price displayed before pickup is indicative only and is not a guaranteed final payment.
The final amount is determined after the material is verified and weighed and the applicable GreenकBadi rate is applied.
The applicable rate may depend on material category or subcategory, quality, market conditions and the rate active for the relevant pickup.
Rate changes are intended to apply to new pickups. Completed transactions retain their recorded verified weight, applicable rate, final amount and payment information.
The customer may be shown the verified weight, applicable rate, final amount and amount paid in the transaction or receipt record.
7. Payment and digital receipt · भुगतान और डिजिटल रसीद
For Version 1, payment is recorded at the time of collection using the payment mode supported by the service. Online payment-gateway functionality is not part of the agreed Version 1 scope unless separately enabled.
GreenकBadi will maintain a transaction or receipt record containing relevant details such as order or transaction ID, material, verified weight, rate, final amount, amount paid, payment mode, collector and date and time.
If there is a genuine discrepancy in a transaction record, GreenकBadi may investigate and correct the record through authorised administrative controls. Where a correction is made, the system may retain an audit record of the original value, corrected value, authorised person, date and time, and reason.
8. Customer responsibilities · ग्राहक की जिम्मेदारी
- Provide accurate contact, address and material information.
- Ensure that the submitted material belongs to you or that you are authorised to dispose of it.
- Do not submit stolen, illegal or prohibited material.
- Do not misrepresent weight, material type, ownership or other relevant information.
- Treat GreenकBadi staff and collectors respectfully.
- Do not interfere with the app, website, transaction records or security controls.
9. Communications and chat · संचार और चैट
GreenकBadi may use app notifications, chat, SMS, email, phone calls or other available channels for service-related communication. Chat and communication records may be retained for operational, support, audit, security and dispute-resolution purposes.
10. Cancellation and service availability · रद्दीकरण और सेवा उपलब्धता
A customer may cancel or request rescheduling where the app or service permits. GreenकBadi may cancel or decline a pickup because of prohibited materials, unsafe conditions, unavailable service coverage, inaccurate information, operational limitations or other reasonable grounds.
GreenकBadi does not guarantee uninterrupted availability of the website, app or pickup service.
11. Fraud, misuse and suspension · धोखाधड़ी, दुरुपयोग और निलंबन
GreenकBadi may investigate suspected fraud, abuse, account misuse, false information, manipulation of transactions or attempts to bypass security controls. Subject to applicable law, GreenकBadi may suspend, restrict or terminate an account or pickup request where reasonably necessary.
12. Intellectual property · बौद्धिक संपदा
The GreenकBadi name, logo, branding, website and app design, content, software and related materials are owned by or licensed to GreenकBadi unless otherwise stated. Users may use the service only for its intended lawful purpose and may not copy, modify, reverse engineer, distribute or commercially exploit GreenकBadi materials without permission, except where permitted by law.
13. Disclaimers and liability · अस्वीकरण और दायित्व
GreenकBadi provides the platform and collection service subject to availability and reasonable operational limitations. To the extent permitted by applicable law, GreenकBadi is not responsible for delays or failures caused by circumstances outside its reasonable control, including network failures, third-party service interruptions, extreme weather, traffic, governmental restrictions or other force-majeure events.
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited under applicable law. Nothing in these Terms removes any consumer rights or statutory protections that apply to the customer.
14. Third-party services · तृतीय-पक्ष सेवाएँ
GreenकBadi may rely on third-party hosting, messaging, payment or technology services. Third-party services may have their own terms and privacy policies. GreenकBadi is not responsible for matters solely within the control of an independent third party, subject to applicable law.
15. Termination · समाप्ति
A customer may stop using the service and may request account deletion. GreenकBadi may suspend or terminate access where permitted by law, including for serious misuse, fraud, security risks or violation of these Terms. Transaction and other records may be retained where required or reasonably necessary for legal, accounting, fraud-prevention or dispute-resolution purposes.
16. Privacy · गोपनीयता
Use of GreenकBadi is also governed by the GreenकBadi Privacy Policy, which explains how personal information is collected, used, shared, protected and retained. The Privacy Policy forms part of these Terms by reference.
17. Changes to these Terms · इन शर्तों में बदलाव
GreenकBadi may update these Terms when services, technology, business processes or legal requirements change. The latest version will be published on the website or app with the updated date. Continued use after an update may constitute acceptance where permitted by applicable law. Where a new consent is legally required, GreenकBadi will obtain it.
18. Governing law and jurisdiction · लागू कानून और क्षेत्राधिकार
These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Subject to applicable consumer-protection and other mandatory laws, disputes will be subject to the jurisdiction of the competent courts and authorities in West Bengal.
