GreenकBadi ("GreenकBadi", "we", "us", or "our") operates a technology-enabled scrap collection and recycling platform for households, shops, offices, institutions and other customers. This Privacy Policy explains what personal information we collect, why we use it, how it is shared, how we protect it, and the choices available to users of our website, Customer App and related services. Account information: name, mobile number, email address, password-related information and profile details.
Pickup information: pickup address, saved addresses, locality or area, pickup instructions, preferred timing and related service details.
Scrap information: material category, subcategory, item details, quantity or weight, photographs and other information needed to arrange and verify a pickup.
Transaction information: order or transaction ID, verified weight, applicable rate, final amount, amount paid, payment mode, collector or staff details, date and time, and digital receipt information.
Communication information: messages, chat records, support requests, feedback and communications with GreenकBadi staff or collectors.
Technical information: device or browser information, IP address, app or website activity, log information and similar technical information required for security, operation and troubleshooting.
Information you provide voluntarily through Contact Us, support or other forms.

To create and manage your account.
To receive, process and track scrap pickup requests.
To share necessary pickup details with the collector assigned to your request.
To verify material, weight, applicable rate, final amount and payment records.
To generate and store digital receipts and transaction history.
To provide customer support and respond to enquiries.
To maintain operational, audit and transaction records.
To send service-related notifications, messages and updates.
To prevent fraud, misuse, unauthorised access and security incidents.
To maintain, troubleshoot and improve the website, app and services.
To comply with applicable legal, regulatory or lawful governmental requirements.

3. Pickup address and location · पिकअप पता और स्थान

GreenकBadi uses the pickup address and related location information to provide the requested collection service. The necessary pickup details are shared with the collector assigned to that pickup. GreenकBadi does not intend to make a customer's pickup address publicly available.

4. Photos and scrap information · फ़ोटो और स्क्रैप जानकारी

If you upload photographs or provide descriptions of scrap, they may be used to understand the pickup request, assist collection and maintain service records. Users should avoid uploading unnecessary personal or sensitive information in scrap photographs.

5. Transaction and payment records · लेनदेन और भुगतान रिकॉर्ड

GreenकBadi maintains records necessary to show the transaction history, including verified weight, applicable rate, final amount, amount paid, payment mode, collector, date and time, and receipt or order information. Version 1 is designed around payment being recorded at the time of collection. Online payment-gateway functionality is not part of the agreed Version 1 scope unless separately enabled.

6. Sharing of information · जानकारी साझा करना

We may share limited information when reasonably necessary to provide the service or meet legal obligations, including:

Assigned collectors and staff - only information necessary to complete the pickup and record the transaction.
Technology and service providers - hosting, infrastructure, messaging, security, analytics or other providers that support the service, subject to appropriate safeguards.
Legal or regulatory authorities - where disclosure is required or permitted by applicable law or lawful process.
Professional advisers or authorised representatives where reasonably necessary for legal, security or business compliance purposes.

GreenकBadi does not sell customers' personal information as a business model.

7. Data retention · डेटा प्रतिधारण

We retain personal and transaction information for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this Policy, including service delivery, customer support, audit, accounting, dispute handling, fraud prevention and legal or regulatory requirements. When information is no longer required, we will seek to delete, anonymise or securely dispose of it, subject to applicable retention requirements.

GreenकBadi uses reasonable technical and organisational measures intended to protect personal information from unauthorised access, misuse, alteration, disclosure or loss. No internet-based service can guarantee absolute security, and users should protect their login credentials and notify GreenकBadi promptly of suspected unauthorised access.

Subject to applicable law and the stage at which relevant provisions are in force, users may have rights relating to access to information, correction or update, withdrawal of consent where applicable, grievance redressal and deletion or erasure in accordance with applicable requirements and GreenकBadi's retention obligations.

Requests may be made through support@greenkabadi.in. GreenकBadi may need to verify the requester's identity before acting on a request.

10. Account deletion · खाता हटाना

Users may request deletion of their GreenकBadi account through the available app functionality or by contacting support@greenkabadi.in. You can also request deletion on this website. Account deletion does not necessarily require immediate deletion of records that GreenकBadi is required or permitted to retain for legal, accounting, fraud-prevention, dispute-resolution or other legitimate purposes.

The website or app may use cookies, local storage or similar technologies required for basic functionality, security, preferences and service improvement. Where applicable, additional consent or controls will be provided for technologies that require user choice under applicable law.

GreenकBadi's Customer Account is intended for users who are at least 18 years old. GreenकBadi does not knowingly design the Customer App as a service for children. Under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, a child is an individual who has not completed 18 years of age. Where applicable law requires verifiable parental or guardian consent or other safeguards for processing a child's data, GreenकBadi will follow those requirements when the relevant provisions are applicable.

The website or app may contain links to third-party websites, stores or services. GreenकBadi is not responsible for the privacy practices of third parties. Users should review the privacy policies of those services before providing information.
